At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a large North American city government required an accelerated solution to construct supportive housing units that would provide the homeless a residence with access to food and care.
The client needed was a solution provider who would launch the project within a stringent cost structure and in an accelerated timeline. For the client, the most important deliverable was the timeline. They were hoping to build a total of 100 units within nine months (a project of this scale would typically take between one and a half to two years).
MetaExpert Jim needed to make 100 units incredibly fast and in order to do so, he needed to be incredibly
efficient. Efficiency was paramount in his communication and his project management. Consistent and clear
communication were essential for success during this project.
Jim needed to ensure he had the right team in place and he also needed to know they were capable of taking on a project of this scale and scope. For example: the manufacturing facility needed to be performing at its best since it would be receiving twice its typical workload.
Jim also needed to organize all other concurrent city projects being executed in the city’s facilities and maneuvered their schedule to make space and budget for this large initiative.
The primary objective was the tight timeline which was achieved successfully and Jim and his team met budget expectations of the client.
Completed the monumental task of creating 100 livable units in just 9 months.
